Teleconference is defined as the live exchange of information among persons remote from one another but linked by a telecommunications system, over telephone, video or other means.
How is today’s telecommunication technology addressing industries where the main focus of the conversation is based on a physical object or space?
One More Dimension aims to support this kind of remote conversations.
Three dimensional objects are complex. Some situations needs to support complexity for users to be able to do their job correctly.
We know that ‘show and tell’ is a powerful way of presenting your vision. Letting people try, modify and leave feedback are all important qualities of a good collaborative- or presentational meeting.
To explore how teleconferencing referred to a tangible object could be done, we experimented with projection mapping on 3D printed objects.
